At Cision we are looking for a Senior Analyst and part of our Media Analysis team, in this role you will generate and manage data that is fundamental to the production of Insights reports, ensuring that data is accurate, timely and processed.
As a Senior Analyst you will analyse, interpret and report trends in social media for the PR departments of global companies and renowned brands.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support the analysis of international print, TV and online media coverage for global companies and brands.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on how to find solutions and concrete implementations for our client's challenges
- You will be responsible for data exports and assisting in the creation of charts and reports, researching content and developing fundamental, qualitative insights.
- Ensure that analyses are of high quality and are received by the client within the agreed framework.
- Independent supervision of media monitoring and social media projects
- Support the strategic development of projects
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Fluent in German and English
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in the fields of communication or media science, preferably also political science or a similar discipline and/or relevant professional experience in the field of PR and media analysis
- Very good knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and the data analysis such as surveys, content analysis, statistics (Excel, PPT, Tableau)
- Experience in supervising projects independently
- Strong computer skills, especially in databases, information management systems, social media
- Strong communication and presentation skills
