What is the most rewarding part of your work?

It’s hard to pick just one! I get to travel the world, stay at amazing locations, and interview the most interesting talent in the world. I get to work with people I genuinely care about and laugh and enjoy what I am doing every day. I’d say that’s definitely the best part.

How is social media useful to you?

It allows me to interact with an array of fans in such an intimate way, which is absolutely great.

Who is the most interesting person you have interviewed?

Oprah Winfrey is definitely at the top of my list because she is such a powerhouse. She’s so genuine and pure and has truly done it all. I found her really interesting, very soulful, and such an inspiration.

What does a typical day look like for you?

There is no such thing as a typical day. I start off my mornings at home with the kids and make sure they are ready for their day ahead. Then, I head into the ET Canada studio at 9am and sit down with my ‘restoration team’ who work their magic on my hair, makeup, wardrobe, and all that jazz. Then, I do a couple voiceovers starting around 10:30am and start filming segments for the show. On my lunch break, I am usually doing media interviews, replying to emails, or working on other projects. Starting around 1pm, we shoot ET Canada’s daily Facebook Live show, then the remainder of our regular show. I’m usually wrapped at the studio by 3pm. Then, I’m off to pick up my kids and it’s back to mommy duties. By 7pm, I’m usually at my computer again doing research for the show or working on my side projects.

What advice do you have for PR people?

Understand that we are on the same team and let’s work together to make the talent shine.

Which event is the most exciting?

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is definitely one of the most exciting events for me because the stars are so accessible and everyone is there to have fun. I also enjoy the Grammy’s and the Golden Globes.

First website you load in the morning?

Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat,, and then other entertainment sites.

Coffee, wine, or green smoothie?

All of the above, but the wine would have to be replaced by gin! My order would then be: gin, coffee, then green smoothie.
