At Cision, the role of the product manager is to identify the most valuable problems to solve and the customer value we deliver to enable your team to ship and iterate high-quality solutions quickly and validate market impact. 

As a product manager at Cision, you will be responsible for driving product initiatives from inception to execution. You will own a problem space where you will drive the goals we establish as measured by key metrics. You’ll collaborate with product leadership establishing the strategy and success criteria against the goals, and defining, communicating and delivering on the roadmap. 

You will succeed by developing a strong understanding of our users, our business and industry. You will bring insights developed form data, customer interviews and competitive understanding to the team. You will communicate the established strategy of the product to your team. You’ll leverage the team to craft solutions that can be quickly tested and then scaled.

You will help us by:

  • Identifying critical problems that are preventing our users from accomplishing their goals. Flesh problems and possible solutions thoroughly, solicit feedback and improve
  • Partnering with the product leadership in crafting the strategy and define the annual roadmap that reflects that
  • Leading ideation of solutions, leveraging your team in design and engineering
  • Testing solutions quickly with customers against key success metrics and scale working solutions globally
  • Coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership through written documents and participation in planning and execution groups
  • Reporting on product success through metrics, identifying opportunities or critical problems to be solved

You will be a good fit for the role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5 years working on technology-powered products as a product manager
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
  • Go-getter attitude and a growth mindset

  • Analytical mindset with an ability to derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data and manage product performance metrics
  • Experience driving initiatives across cross-functional teams in a global environment
