What you’ll do:

  • You’ll be working as a key member on our Governance team. 
  • The team delivers a suite of tools and services to support the Falcon platform. Including authentication and authorization services, integration tools and audit logging. 
  • The team consist of cross competencies, ranging from other Frontend Engineers to Backend Engineers.  
  • The focus of the team is to support the platform and other product teams through developer-friendly interfaces and services.  

How you’ll do it:

  • You’ll be delivering and maintaining shared frontend APIs to the rest of your Frontend colleagues. 
  • Uphold a high security standard in the frontend stack in collaboration with other teams. 
  • Enable the product teams to focus on feature development 
  • Deliver high-quality and scalable solutions 
  • Act as a sparring partner to various members of the team 
  • Proactively share and debate best practices with your peers 

  • Your Colleagues:

    The team is set in an informal, positive and respectful working environment you’ll interact, learn from and brainstorm with experienced Frontend Engineers and Frontend Designers – all with a clear focus on delivering high-quality solutions and following modern best practices. 

    The R&D team, in general, are a bunch of geeks who like having fun and are good at celebrating achievements. The team enjoy bonding through outings and activities and occasionally also invite guest speakers from different fields of expertise as we believe in gaining knowledge beyond software and IT. 

    You will be part of the Governance team in Budapest and the larger Frontend team at Falcon.  

What you have:

  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and frameworks such as Angular. 
  • Experience in building and debugging complex systems in a team environment. 
  • Familiarity with the whole web stack and working knowledge of the Web APIs. 
  • A working knowledge of web security best practices. 
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest) and end-to-end testing is desirable. 
  • Excellent skills in communication and teamwork. 
  • Adaptable, resourceful and able to share your knowledge with the rest of the team.
