Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with editors and reporters through meetings and networking. Manage the company’s media database & media lists by keeping it up-to-date.
  • Expand PR Newswire Asia’s distribution network to online websites, bloggers, multimedia channels, and financial terminals in Taiwan by forming partnerships with them;
  • Assist marketing team by inviting event speakers to organize media coffee and webinar, contributing to the company’s blog;
  • Assist our client services, including releases push, clients’ meeting with sales, prepare the premium report.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks when required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • University degree;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in related functions, experience preferably in the areas of communications, public relations, or marketing services;
  • Fluent speaking and writing in English and Chinese;
  • High level of self-motivation, energy and accountability; strong ability to work both independently and as a team member in a fast-paced working environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and problem-solving skills;
  • Good understanding of new media, public relations, investor relations and marketing communications industries;
  • Energetic, digital savvy and passion for media and social media. A fast learner;
  • Proficiency in Internet and PC software, esp. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
