We’re currently looking for a

is responsible to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests to enhance the quality of software developed. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and ensures testing procedures follows compliance with established protocol.
Interact with development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives, appropriate quality goals and acceptance criteria, verify and validate product and project requirements.
Design and build detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for complex software applications inclusive of functional and integration testing.
Execute functional and performance test scenarios, validate test environments and records test results / defects to continually increase the percentage of tests which are automated.
Document and analyze test cases and identifies functional problems. Maintain testing documentation within defined Quality Assurance processes/tools and provide testing status (inclusive of potential code issues) updates to developers.
Collaborate with the Development team in troubleshooting to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
Perform regression testing prior to production and monitors server status to monitor potential issues, validate and approve production releases.
Partner with application stakeholders to validate features and bug fixes meet expectations and are adequately tested.
Produce status reports / metrics on quality goals and acceptance criteria overall and Sprint.
Provide post implementation support to Operations including but not limited to; information, guidance and direction.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing is required. Solid experience in working within an Agile development team, software development lifecycle, configuration and release management.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and processes.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, etc.).
Experience with application performance testing.
Experience with test automation for APIs and services.
Experience with object-oriented design and programming (e.g., Java, C#).
Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, bash, PowerShell)
Source control software – Git, SVN, etc
Knowledge of Java and Linux.
Experience with Java testing frameworks is an asset (e.g., Junit, JMock, Mockito, JBehave).
Strong analytical / critical thinking with an aptitude to utilize creativity when problem solving.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
Ability to summarize progress and articulate technical issues, take ownership of specific tasks and follows the project team’s direction through to completion.
