The Talent Acquisition Operations Lead is responsible for supporting the Cision Global Talent Acquisition team in their efforts to attract, hire, onboard, retain, and grow employees at Cision. They are a key player in the new employee onboarding process (‘The Cision Experience’), TA operational activities, TA system expertise (Lever), and providing recruiting support through managing the campus/emerging career recruitment strategy.

Essential Functions

  • Manages a team of 1-2 Talent Acquisition Specialists/Coordinators
  • Leads the end-to-end onboarding related activities – aiming to ensure a smooth ‘Cision Experience’ for new hires and hiring managers; updates new hire calendars with onboarding schedules before new hire’s first week on Cision, assists with questions/support as needed, background checks, connects with IT team on various onboarding dependencies, etc.
  • Project manages the overall Global Onboarding enhancement initiative
  • Develops and implements the campus recruiting strategy and processes for early career programs
  • Partners with relevant stakeholders & leverages technology to streamline talent processes and create efficiency, while improving the candidate experience 
  • Works closely with Executive Leadership Team, HR Leadership, and Finance on staffing plans, requisition approvals, & hiring data
  • Partners with the Talent Analytics Manager on dashboards/metrics to keep key stakeholders aware of hiring progress, challenges, candidate pipeline, conversation rates – escalates issues, as necessary
  • Acts as the Subject Matter Expert of Applicant Tracking System (Lever); assists and/or leads training to recruiters & hiring managers as necessary. Leverages ATS & internal data for recruiting metrics, analytics, and supporting reporting (status of roles, req count per recruiter/hiring manager, pipelines, future hiring plans, GDPR purge, Colorado postings, etc.)
  • Acts as a Project Manager to recruiting agency partnerships – being the Cision POC for ATS setup, candidate & manager coordination, communications, etc.
  • Oversees job postings to ensure postings are effectively articulates the Cision employer value proposition
  • Partners with marketing and other Talent team members on Employer Branding efforts
  • Manages the strategy and planning of recruiting and networking events that help us attract the right talent 
  • Builds meaningful, collaborative relationships with candidates, agency partners, and hiring managers to keep TA operations moving seamlessly
  • All other duties, as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
  • 4+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition operations or recruitment with a strong interest and aptitude for the TA operational components, especially the onboarding experience
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task, handle multiple items with accuracy and with tight deadlines
  • Strong bias for action and a sense of urgency 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills 
  • Builds relationship and rapport at all levels; ability to facilitate stakeholder meetings
