Cision is looking for a Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics & Insights to join the global Marketing Operations team, leading the marketing analytics function. This role will have direct exposure to marketing leadership and drive change through data-driven decision making. This person will have (1) direct report, who will support through campaign and tactic-based performance analysis.  
 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy and build of core data models from the ground up, using Salesforce CRM data and Eloqua Marketing Automation data sets.  
  • Become a thought leader within marketing, enabling our team to identify optimization opportunities and support ROI discussions 
  • Develop measurement and channel frameworks, supported by KPI development with marketing leadership 
  • Drive regular reporting cadences to marketing leadership on business performance, including in-depth monthly business reviews containing actionable insights across the funnel and produce lines  
  • Manage and inspire (1) direct report, who will drive performance marketing analysis for campaigns, channels and tactics  
  • Lead the early stages of marketing attribution with the support of digital marketing and demand generation functions  

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in an marketing analytics or senior analysts role, preferably in a B2B SaaS organization  
  • Experience owning strategic data and analytics initiates end to end for marketing
  • A firm understanding of Salesforce Data Objects and how they come together for data model construction and analysis  
  • Designed data models and buildout of BI tools such as Domo and Tableau  
  • Understand the marketing funnel stages, and how each marketing function contributes through the lens of data 
  • Ability to tell a story through data, identifying lagging and leading indicators to help drive our marketing strategy and forecasting abilities  
  • Comfortable building charts and slide decks for leadership presentations  
  • Strong project management skills at the senior level, including stakeholder management, requirements gathering and executive communications
