The Software Engineering team is responsible for the engineering and design of our enterprise-level SaaS application used by Public Relations and Marketing professionals. We are passionate about building modern, scalable and intuitive software while using some pretty awesome tools in the process. The successful candidate will offer experience with enterprise level applications and be passionate about scalable SaaS delivery. This role will develop mostly in .NET but an agnostic technologist is ideal for our environment. 

You will be a good fit if you have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing web applications using C# / Microsoft .NET technologies 
  • A solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts. You should be comfortable with design pattern discussions and implementation. 
  • 5+ years working with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySql, Oracle, etc…) 
  • Familiarity with designing, developing and securing popular API frameworks (e.g. Web API, MVC, REST, etc..) 
  • Experience developing innovative and scalable enterprise software by writing performant C# and SQL code (we support over 800,000 users across our applications and they expect speed) 
  • Write maintainable full stack code while working in a professional software engineering environment (e.g. source control, code reviews, unit testing, gated check-ins, CI, etc…). No cowboy coders please.  
  • Unit testing (both backend and frontend), TDD or BDD 
  • Experience with Scrum in a fast paced, short sprint cycle environment 
  • Proactive, self-starting and positive attitude 

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • ORM Lite or other object relational mapping framework (e.g. NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc…) 
  • Apache Solr 
  • DTSearch
  • Experience with message queueing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc…) 
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery 
  • Have worked with various cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc…) 
  • Some proficiency in front end development using HTML5/CSS3 with experience in at least one modern front-end framework (Angular, Knockout, React, etc…)
