The Senior Manager, Marketing is an integral part of shaping the future of both our prospect and customer-facing experiences at Cision. The Senior Manager, Marketing has two main areas of focus: demand generation and marketing operations. He/she will be responsible for planning, implementing, analyzing and optimizing our demand channels (SEM, SEO, paid social, etc.). This optimization includes identifying and executing operational efficiencies that will accelerate Sales growth, which could include marketing automation, lead management and overall sales and marketing processes.
You will help us with/by:
Oversee paid search (SEM) and display advertising marketing channels across our Product suite. Optimize account performance through analytics, testing, and experimentation.
Own integrated demand generation testing and exploration, including emerging technologies and nurture strategies.
Maintain a core focus on measuring and reporting performance of all campaigns (ROI and KPIs). Implement optimizations that scale lead volume and improve funnel conversion.
Lead online strategy and website improvements (Cision, PRNewswire, PRWeb). Guide increased customer engagement across all digital channels.
Compile, review and communicate monthly/quarterly qualitative and quantitative reports on digital marketing performance, driving actionable insights for future efforts; communicate best practices and share lessons learned throughout the organization
Serve as point on collaboration and strategy alignment with key stakeholders in Sales, Product and other cross-functional teams. Implement cross-functional SOPs and feedback loops.
You will be a good fit if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field required, Master’s a plus.
5+ years specializing in paid marketing, including hands-on usage of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Salesforce
Proficient in digital marketing landscape (e.g. digital experience and multi-channel management, marketing operations, SEM, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
Experience and knowledge of marketing automation (CRM) platforms
Excellent communications skills, oral and written with an analytical approach, proven ability to use data driven insights to initiate action and communicate process improvements
Positive, professional and outgoing; able to work independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to build consensus and drive efficiency to the bottom line.
Entrepreneurial instinct – able to see the big picture while paying close attention to detail
Highly organized with ability to multitask under tight deadlinesand manage multiple projects simultaneously
