is a Danish born social media management platform rapidly expanding our presence in the North American market with focus on scaling our sales development team in the NYC office. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of sales executives whose primary focus will be on opportunity growth and closing deals in the North American Market based in NYC.
Are you the perfect person?
You will help us with:
You have a track record of success developing a high performance culture in Sales and consistently hitting Sales targets
You have the proven ability to manage a satellite office, provide clear leadership to the local team while establishing strong ties to your peers and superiors in an international setup
You are a veteran Sales Manager with a couple of years managerial experience. Best case, your experience comes from a SaaS background.
You are a natural communicator and master the arts both internally when it is about motivating & informing your team, connecting & sparring with your peers and externally when it is all about the customer and expanding Falcon’s footprint in the market.
Because you love to take ownership, you challenge the status quo ultimately putting your mark on our team rather than coming into a set scenery where the focus is pretty much on execution only.
You live and breathe a structured approach to Sales e.g. apply to a clearly defined CRM process, build/ enforce a daily/ weekly structure, track & interpret data to improve and to get the job done while you feel like a fish in the water being on closing calls with customers and leading your team from the trenches.
You will be a good fit if you have:
Proven track record of exceeding targets in the closing role and also 1-2 years experience managing a team.
Experience working with Salesforce, knowing how to utilize it on a basic level to pull key reports, and create dashboards.
You should be data and metrics driven with the goal of understanding the key numbers that drive activity and production
Natural leader and team player - you’ll have the passion and ability to lead a team of people and be able to inspire your direct team and others around you
You are ready to tackle any challenge or problem (big or small) that may come your way and be solutions oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
