Sales Development Representative - Bilingual

We’re currently looking for a Sales Development Representative to join the team.

The Sales Development Representative is responsible to coordinate and execute all sales qualifying activities to outbound customers and is responsible for hitting or exceeding a monthly quota.

Key Accountabilities

  • Executes outbound calls and customized emails daily utilizing sales enablement tools. Hits or exceeds a monthly quota.
  • Schedules quality demos for sales team by identifying, researching and contacting potential customers.
  • Prospects quality contacts and accounts best aligned for using Cision’s platform and creates amazing first impressions with potential customers while building pipeline for sales.
  • Maintains first point of contact for potential clients while executing marketing and sales tactics / activities.
  • Organizes, categorizes, and prioritizes sales leads and collects market data before and during customer outreach to understand prospective customers needs and effectively translates those needs to the sales team.
  • Partners with sales representatives to support prospecting activities to best communicate our value proposition to decision makers.


  • College diploma (or equivalent) in business administration, communications, marketing or a related field is required.
  • Minimum one (1) to two (2) years’ experience making outbound calls (experience in a Sales or Business Development role). An interest in moving to a consultative Sales position within a software company is a strong asset.
  • Lead generation exposure within a SaaS technology start-up and / or Salesforce expertise an asset.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit – hunger, self-motivated and strong work ethic.
  • Interest in and passion for working at a hyper-growth company.
  • Advanced time management, attention to detail and organizational skills. Adaptable and flexible with an ability to respond to changing work priorities, pressure and demands.
  • Working knowledge in CRM similar to Outreach, IO, Salesforce and other sales enablement tools an asset.
  • Working knowledge MS Office Suite is preferred.
