We’re currently looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join the team.
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible to support Cision's Canadian products and to educate internal departments on the value and benefits of those products.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinates the efficient deployment of new product releases, including but not limited to: sales enablement, messaging and promotional content, website optimization, and responding to ad hoc product queries.
  • Develops and/or contributes to the creation of content supporting various product lines and ensures the efficient production, localization and delivery of marketing materials (including ensuring the translation of French-Canadian versions).
  • Liaises with Product, Clients and Sales to identify product enhancement opportunities and assists Product with the prioritization of product backlog.
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert and monitors, tracks and understands the progression and relevance of product enhancements to the Canadian marketplace from Sprint cycle to go-live date.
  • Conducts market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement to identify product gaps, potential new offerings and methods to continuously improve product offerings.


  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or a related field is required. Experience working in a B2B organization is an asset.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Journalism, Communications is required.
  • Advanced writing / editing skills is required.
  • Bilingual English / French written communication skills are a strong asset.
  • Working knowledge of current trends, practices and techniques in Product Marketing is required with working knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, CMS like Salesforce and Desktop publishing software like Adobe Creative Suite is required.
  • Advanced listening and verbal communication skills to understand stakeholder needs or problems and respond clearly and concisely.
  • Advanced time management and ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously, attention to detail and organizational skills.
