Multimedia Producer is responsible to facilitate communication and delivery of service between clients and service partners for products inclusive but not limited to: live webcasts / learning events, photo assignments, the Rooms product suite, content centres, social post promotion and organization profiles. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Leads all aspects of end-to-end production of live webcasts including preparation of web pages and URLs, review / test for compatibility issues, uploading client materials (presentations, documents, videos, pictures, etc.) to the platform and monitoring live streams conference calls, securing audio connections, providing troubleshooting support for attendees via the Q&A or Chat functionality as required, editing and archiving audio/video files.  Produces events/webcasts utilizing virtual proprietary platforms.
  • Collaborates with clients and PRN Site Support to customize the design and development of MediaRooms websites, product support, and escalation process for addressing issues.
  • Compiles written requests and drafts documents to submit to PRN Site Support initiating the implementation of new and /or changes to existing Media Rooms for clients.
  • Constructs clients’ MediaRoom including, utilizing a proprietary web application, importing web content, organizing files, and manipulating HTML code within the Content Management System.
  • Administers, maintains and reconciles weekly client webcast billing utilizing Excel.
  • Leads conference calls with clients and service partners for status updates, site/build requirements and provides CMS training on the MediaRoom product for clients. Communicates build requirements, specifications and client inquiries to our service partners for our Rooms and Content Centre products.
  • Coordinates client requests for photography with the availability of commissioned photographers. Promotes social media posts on Facebook and Twitter for paid additional views.
  • Performs ongoing maintenance and updates to clients' Organizational Profiles, inclusive of installation of current boiler plates, updating contact information within the internal platform, newswire.ca.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent in Computer Science, Web Design or a related field is required.
  • Certification in Audio / Video, Production, Project Management, Web Development, Graphic Design or Photography are assets.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience.  Familiarity with Digital Media, Communications / Media or web-based technical environments are assets.
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Acrobat Photoshop and Premiere. Working experience in web-site production, content organization and management, migration, usability testing is required. Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, XML and JavaScript are definite assets.
  • Strong competence to manage a variety of simultaneous projects within tight deadlines, excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong aptitude to understand client requirements with excellent written and verbal communications skills to clearly communicate the complexities of content management systems and applications to clients, vendors and internal groups. Excellent interpersonal skills, mature judgment, and diplomacy to interact effectively with and provide customer service to a broad audience. Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and SEO is an asset.
  • Written and verbal fluency in both English and French is preferred.
