The Manager – Professional Services is a leadership position at Cision and is responsible for the strategic vision and execution of Cision’sprofessional services team.  The ideal candidate will have exceptional project management skills,  experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, a strong desire to fuel service excellence, and have a solid track record of mentoring and developing talent.  The Manager is responsible for managing a team of professional services consultants responsible for software configuration/setup, client training, and seamless transitions to the support and account management groups while maximizing customer loyalty and satisfaction with key customer stakeholders by driving value in service delivery. 

You'll help us with:

  • Develop and maintain consistent, effective, scalable, and repeatable quality processes utilizing standard methodologies 
  • Develop and provide metrics, analysis, guidance, and direction utilizing individual and aggregated project data to drive profitable, sustainable decisions – while building and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Monitor problems, solutions, budgets, resources, timelines and overall quality control across all projects 
  • Understand and take responsibility for the entire project lifecycle. 
  • Drive outstanding business results and client satisfaction through relevant and timely feedback. 
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment that drives high employee engagement and retention through active mentoring, training, goal setting and performance coaching for business, team, and individual goals. 
  • Stay current on product best practices, upcoming releases, and other features that could be aligned to help customers meet their goals. 

You'll be a good fit if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in an implementation, project management, consulting, or professional services role – specifically within a software or technology company. 
  • Deep experience with Salesforce. 
  • Proven project leadership skills with a history of defining objectives and delivering projects through to successful completion – PMP certification a plus. 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, account management, and development resources. 
  • Confident public speaking skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience defining and building new process & procedures. 
  • Consistent track record of superior problem solving and customer service. 
  • Thrives in an environment of rapid change with demonstrated ability to maintain composure during challenging events.
