The Human Resources Business Systems and Reporting Analyst will be a subject matter expert in UltiPro/UKG Pro, Time Management (preferably UTM) and Cognos BI Reporting. This role will help optimize, maintain, and audit the system to meet business needs as well as manage various HR technology projects and integrations between UltiPro, other HR systems and external vendors. This role will also provide support for our US and Global Users, in addition to supporting day-to-day processes.
Assist in the ongoing redesign and automation of HR processes, promoting operational excellence
Create advanced reports in Cognos BI using best practices to support business data requirements, system audits and ad-hoc requests
Manage time system and troubleshoot any technical issues reported by employees and supervisors
Play a key role in Global HR data initiatives, as well as post implementation support and data governance
Handle mass employee data updates for both Global and US data using the import tool or other solutions
Partner with HRIS and IT on automation of processes and addressing Global HR Data initiatives e.g., multiple HR systems, dual entry, etc.
Ensure data integrity across Global and US HR data processes by reviewing audit reports, proactively creating solutions for data gaps and ensuring all Cision HR systems are in alignment
Manage a portfolio of HR technology (annual/recurring) projects based upon business priorities and ensure project activities are progressing as assigned
Serve as the HRIS partner supporting various functions, such as Benefits, Compensation, Talent and Operations to ensure system processes are clearly defined and aligned with business requirements
Create and maintain training documentation to support business continuity; and participate in training activities for stakeholders and end-users
Be a subject matter expert on current and upcoming HRIS initiatives aimed at optimizing and scaling Cision HR systems
Support the Director of HR Operations, HRIS and Analytics to meet initiatives and goals as requested
Maintain knowledge of statutory/regulatory requirements affecting HR processes/system(s), trends and developments in HR technology by participating in HR system(s) forums, including on-line discussions, training and webinars
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
5+ years of progressive HR/HRIS experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with UKG Pro (UltiPro) and other systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Ceridian, SAP)
Proficiency in Cognos Analytics, SQL and creating advanced reports
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with UKG Time (UTM) is a plus
Experience supporting Talent Systems (Recruiting, Performance, Learning) is a plus
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products is a plus (Visio, Power BI, Access)
Experience working in both private and public organizations
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including experience working directly with users and collaborating across teams to deliver complex projects
Significant experience managing multiple projects at once and meeting deliverables on time
Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Digital transformation mindset with tendency to challenge the status quo
Continuous improvement mindset and seek opportunities for process improvement
SHRM-CP and/or PHR
