What you'll do:

  • Perform daily bookkeeping and related tasks such as processing accounts payable, reconciling bank accounts, booking accruals, updating fixed asset schedules, and running depreciation and amortization
  • Assist in the weekly cash flow analysis and payment run process
  • Coordinate and/or prepare necessary statutory and tax reporting for your responsible entities
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of respective balance sheet accounts and follow up on outstanding items
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Local and US (Group) accounting standards
  • Play an integral role in the month-end closing and reporting process for the entire Group
  • Participate in the optimization of finance processes across departments and entities
  • Create analytical insights and reports for management
  • Contribute to and lead finance projects for the Falcon (Cision) group companies

What you'll need:

  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills - Falcon's company language is English
  • A relevant bachelor's degree (or higher), and would be considered and advantage, but not obligatory, 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite) - experience is preferred but not required
  • A solid understanding of general accounting principles and comfort with standard month-end closing procedures, such as balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • An analytical mindset with a desire to fulfil tasks in a detail-oriented way
  • An outgoing personality that proactively tackles problems
  • An ability to communicate with colleagues and suppliers from all over the world
