Job Summary:
As an Enterprise Account Executive, your mission is to find and close new business in your assigned territory with a hunter mentality and approach. Your success will be dependent upon your ability to prospect for business through networking events, referrals, cold-calling and any other means necessary. Your polished written and verbal communication skills will be important when engaging prospects and effectively differentiating Cision’s services and value proposition from the competition. 

Requirements:

  • Experience calling into complex global organizations
  • Maintaining a sales database and creating a pipeline of prospects
  • Performing cold calls to generate sales leads
  • Owning and driving a well-balanced pipeline
  • Developing sales proposals and conducting compelling presentations to prospective clients
  • Performing follow-up calls to prospects, negotiating and closing deals
  • Strong collaboration with various internal partner including accounting, legal, SalesOps, etcOwn an end-to-end inside sales cycle from prospecting to close

Qualifications:

  • College degree required
  • 5-7 years outside/field sales experience preferred
  • Must have proven track record as a top sales performer
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation with an ability to sell services in short and long-term sales cycles.
  • Previous media sales experience is valuable
  • Advertising agency, PR Agency, interactive agency, or IR agency experience is valuable
