The Director of Digital Marketing Director EMEIA will develop and oversee initiatives that efficiently generate sales-ready leads through digital marketing programs.

The Director of Digital Marketing will:

·       Expand Cision’s reach through SEO, SEM, programmatic and influencers
·       Encourage engagement through digital content, retargeting, marketing automation and on-site optimisation.
·       Exploit data structuring tactics to drive revenue growth
·       6C’s Modelling of technology
·       Provide strategic leadership

What are we looking for?

  • Leadership of the performance marketing (SEM, programmatic, paid social through LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and retargeting) department including allocation of budget, development of approach and optimisation of spend
  • Specification and distribution of content to improve and maintain organic search engine ranking for keywords
  • Pillar Paging content for best practice SEO ranking and creating “evergreen” content
  • Refine, implement and lead the key strategic UK and EMEIA Digital Strategy, with specific focus on Cision’s UK digital transformation, fully integrating the philosophy of right customer, with the right content & the right channel at the right time
  • Marketing automation by building a customer management capability, automated and triggered communications and removing friction from the buying process through the application of appropriate technology
  • Measurement, analysis and optimisation of the marketing department’s effectiveness to guide Cision’s commercial efforts
  • Embed positive change and customer digital engagement philosophies, and practices
  • Develop creative approaches to engage prospects so they are sufficiently engaged to have a valuable conversation with sales
  • Additional opportunities lie in the optimisation of cross-selling, incremental sales and consumer loyalty.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Customer-centric: the ability to understand and support the prospect in their buying decision with 4-years’ experience researching and mapping journeys 
  • Consultative: the ability to structure problems, manage projects to tight timeframes and provide clear and structured communication with 4 years’ experience in a consulting role
  • Innovative: a thinker able to implement creative ideas with a proven track record in delivering improvements in customer journeys and ABX 
  • Analytical: able to draw insight from raw information with further abilities to understand the nuances of the EMEIA region
  • Persuasive: understand the techniques and methods required to lead prospects through the buying process
  • Marketing Technology: a working knowledge of all key elements of the marketing tech stack with recent hands-on experience of building out digital marketing infrastructure
  • Team Management: the ability to create and maintaining a highly motivated high performing team

The standard working hours will be 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17:30  excluding one-hour unpaid lunch break per day.
