Responsible for both routine and complex projects associated with all corporate tax matters US and International, including income tax accounting, tax compliance and audits and tax research. The tax manager will report to the Director of Tax. This is a new and important role providing a great opportunity to help grow the tax function.

You'll help us with:

  • Manage and prepare the Company’s global corporate income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including footnotes, disclosures, permanent/temporary differences, discrete items, rate reconciliation, inventory of deferred assets/liabilities, taxes payable, valuation allowances, tax rates, return-to-provision adjustments, tax provision memos, tax journal entries as well as coordination with external tax advisors and auditors.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of federal and state direct and indirect tax compliance and quarterly estimated and extension payment computations. Assist with federal and state tax audits for direct and indirect taxes.
  • Provide forecasts and guidance regarding U.S. and non-U.S. future effective tax rates and cash taxes.
  • Interface with external tax advisors as necessary.
  • Assist with coordination, tracking, and management of the global tax compliance.
  • Research developments in tax law to determine appropriate tax methods and identify tax savings opportunities for the Company.
  • Support various special projects, M&A and assist with ad hoc tax assignments as needed in all areas of tax, including assistance with research & development studies and tax notice correspondence. 
  • Identify Tax technology needs, including opportunities for process improvements, automation, efficiency and the coordination of existing tax technologies with the implementation of best practices of new technologies, and drive those improvements. 

You'll be a good fit is you have:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience working in public accounting or related experience as a tax manager with strong ASC 740 experience. 
  • CPA required
  • Masters in Taxation strongly preferred.
  • BA/BS business/accounting/finance or other applicable business discipline.
  • Broad knowledge of corporate direct and indirect taxation and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
