Cision Insights delivers fully customized news media briefings to senior corporate and government executives that provide, as one Fortune 100 CEO described it, “The perfect antidote to information overload.” Our expert analysts work overnight utilizing complex proprietary software to scour tens of thousands of sources – news, white papers, financial analyst reports, market research, business opportunities, etc. – and distill their core findings into quick-read briefing memos for the most demanding executives in the world.

The Position:

  • As a forerunner in the executive briefing business, we rely on our Client Relations team to be the voice of the company and ensure our clients’ expectations are exceeded in everything we do.

  • As a Client Relations Director, you will need to know how to navigate complex situations. You will be responsible for developing deep partnerships with our clients to help them achieve their goals and establish Cision Insights as a partner on their team. You are the client’s voice within the company and the voice of the company to the client. As such, the Client Relations Director plays an invaluable role in client communication, problem solving and editorial quality control.

  • This includes onboarding and implementation, ongoing adoption, growth, and, ultimately, renewal. The Client Relations team works daily to go above and beyond to wow our clients and ensure they have the best experience in every interaction with our company. The perfect candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who builds partnerships externally and internally while bringing an intellectual curiosity to work each day.

What is a typical day like?

  • It depends on the day. You may be talking to clients about improving our service. Or you could be resolving client issues under a tight deadline. You could also be working closely with editorial, technical and sales departments to resolve client issues and enhance our products and service. No day is the same when it comes to serving our clients.

Essential Functions:

  • Build long-term client relationships.
  • Anticipate and articulate client needs to become a trusted advisor and business partner.
  • Write quick updates or short turnaround reports for clients on tight deadlines.
  • Engage internal team members, including solution consulting, operations, and sales, to deliver on client objectives.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
