A Cision Project Manager is responsible for a defined set of clients and the team needed to service them successfully and profitably. The Project Manager is responsible for gratifying clients to ensure retention and growth of existing client revenue, as well as playing a key role in new business initiatives within their sector. They produce the pinnacle of strategic PRIME reports for clients, finding the best ways to represent data to help their clients make good business decisions. They have responsibility for resourcing client accounts, coaching Project Managers and liaising with the Accounting Department. 

You'll help us with:

  • Complete “owned” reports with little-to-no upper management approval (including multiple deadlines)
  • Understand key client priorities, drivers and hypotheses, in order to deliver actionable insights, highlight strategic opportunities and new areas of measurement
  • Help tell the data story in a consistent and digestible way, so that clients have a clear understanding of the metrics and insights
  • Reports communicate solid findings/insights 
  • Provide innovation and solutions to improve existing reports (advanced data visualization and design elements) 
  • Trusted respondent for client communications, including methodology questions, report findings and data explanations 
  • Field requests for special/ad hoc reporting with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the team to ensure timeliness of client communications and deliverables
  • Liaise with intercompany/cross-sector teams on deadlines and statuses
  • Can communicate methodology internally and externally
  • Troubleshoot data issues/missing content of moderate complexity
  • Minor media analytics tool back-end adjustments
  • Regular, proactive engagement with client
  • Interpret existing SOW and track deliverables
  • Create personal development plan and set goals
  • Know when to escalate client concerns/ask for help
  • Active, valuable contributor to internal meetings
  • Well-developed time-management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Experienced with Power BI

You'll be a good fit if you have:

  • At least 3 years of experience advanced reporting skills
  • Minimum 2 of years client management
  • Analyze traditional and social media data across various platforms and media analytics tools
  • Write and present strategics and meaningful reports, while ensuring data integrity
  • Maintain client relationships
  • Technology sector expertise 
  • Complexity of problems solved is moderate to moderately complex with guidance
  • Should be well-versed in all aspects of the platform(s) required for the work
  • Should be a self-starter requiring minimal day-to-day supervision and should collaborate well with colleagues
