The US New Business Analyst will work with the New Business Sales team along with key sales and marketing stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in sales reporting, customization of Salesforce.com within the organization, assisting in maintaining customer and prospect records, identifying new selling opportunities, and creating/maintaining prosecting databases/lists.  This position will be instrumental in supporting and enabling the US New Business Sales team’s overall operational effectiveness and success.

Essential Functions

  • Intelligently analyze raw data, reports and provide business insights to sales leadership
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, sales ops, sales enablement and other departments on large projects
  • Conduct Competitor & Prospect research to create market share reports based off geographical location
  • Partner with Sales Account Owners to create account specific reports for customers: activity analysis, usage statistics, and financial data
  • Attend weekly sales leadership meetings to provide input on team changes, request trends, & sales updates
  • Communicate forecast, pipelines, sales updates via email, phone, and/or live presentation
  • Stay up to date with new products, enhancements, and feature launches
  • Work daily in SalesForce.com, exporting reports and necessary data to create scorecards, activity reports, and recognition documents
  • Provide guidance and documentation to the sales department on internal systems, processes and general questions
  • Aggregating and analyzing data to evaluate/reform processes in order to improves sales results
  • Coordinate with marketing to discuss the technical aspects of lead routing issues 
  • Building and refining tools that can help US New Business teams thrive in fast paced environment 
  • Represent US New Business in operational meetings to help cover the communication gap that happens between technical and non-technical employees.
  • Create and manage reports, forecasts, metrics and dashboards for US new business sales organization
  • Actively monitor, analyze, and report on the sales pipeline while ensuring rules of engagement guidelines are being followed
  • Assist and drive system definition and requirements including collaboration with internal resources, Salesforce.com, IT and third-party developers to improve sales efficiencies for the sales organization
  • Collaborate with marketing team to help drive demand creation campaigns
  • Create and manage lead generation campaign for multiple sales teams
  • Assist sales leadership as needed with workflow, trigger updates, field creation, record type management, and page layouts

Qulifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Marketing, Communication or a similar field
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Salesforce.com lead/contact/account/reaping and other reporting/dashboard creation processes
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Ability to prioritize duties effectively and deliver reports/task on time
  • Proven ability to deliver quality output in a flexible, often ad-hoc environment 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability and desire to partner across departments with all levels of management to ensure effective implementation of time-sensitive initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, customer relation, and project management skills 
  • Comprehend high level of product, industry, system, & process training 
  • Ability to work with and support multiple people effectively and flexible when priorities are changing 
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook 
  • The ability to work on-sight in the Cleveland, Beltsville or Chicago office. 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours in accordance with company needs/workflow demands
