The Sales Strategy & Analytics team sits at the intersection of data and action, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find any strategy development that doesn’t involve us. Our team has two primary objectives: s
hape how we understand our business and f
inding opportunities to improve the business and executing them.
You'll help us with:
Working with senior leadership to understand the key success metrics for the business
Working with operating teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, etc.) to translate those key success metrics into metrics that mean something to those teams
Working with Finance and Business Intelligence to make sure we’re able to reliably measure and track those metrics, which then can serve as the source of truth for the business
Developing sharp insights from the data
How can we segment our customers in meaningful ways, and how can we target each segment most effectively?
Where are the biggest bottlenecks in our sales processes, and how can we improve our operational rigor?
Can we bring in external data sources (e.g., price competitiveness on our products) to improve our understanding of our offering?
Executing the most promising opportunities (via prioritization processes) with our operating teams, identifying how we’ll measure success and tracking results accordingly
You'll be a good fit if you have:
2+ years of experience of answering business questions with data (e.g., Excel)
Demonstrated experience working with internal stakeholders (not just your team/boss) to help you better understand those business questions and put together the most comprehensive answers you can
Demonstrated experience estimating value (of projects, actions, etc.) and measuring actual outcomes against those estimates
Data visualization experience (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Domo...) is useful, as is any upstream data work (e.g., SQL)
Salesforce experience is also useful, as that’s where most of our data lives
