Working at our Chennai office, you will be part of a team of more than 20 employees in the global finance department, with finance colleagues in Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, and India. We are working closely together with the finance colleagues from other Cision Group companies and colleagues from the business as well.
You will play an active role in managing the billing process for all our customers within a global finance function and you will also be ready to participate in various revenue reporting metrics and reporting tasks.
What you'll do:
Issuing and sending sales invoices in our billing systems (NetSuite and Stripe) in compliance with internal company policies and procedures.
Monitoring and verifying the correctness of subscription agreements and orders in our customer relationship system (Salesforce) and ensuring reconciliation of Salesforce data to NetSuite Invoiced Data.
Uploading sales invoices through customer payment portals.
Responsible for supporting Falcon’s sales team with providing relevant documents and information to register us as a vendor.
Ensuring effective and smooth communication with Falcon’s customers.
Assisting the Revenue and Reporting Analyst with monthly and ad hoc reporting to executive management and our parent company, Cision.
Assisting in ad hoc requests within the Revenue and Reporting team, ensuring maximum efficiency and scalability of processes.
Collaborating with Credit Control team on outstanding balances and billing related requests.
Proactively identify and implement process improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements.
Assisting the finance team in projects with relation to the billing process automation, e.g. on-going Salesforce to NetSuite integration project.
What you'll need:
Excellent English speaking and writing skills - Falcon's company language is English
A relevant bachelor's degree (or higher), preferably in Accounting/Finance, and 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
Experience working with common ERP & billing systems - experience with Netsuite is a plus
An analytical mindset with a desire to fulfil tasks in a detail-oriented way
An outgoing personality, with a love for proactively tackling problems
The ability to communicate with colleagues and customers from all over the world
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with a keen eye to details
Strong Can-do attitude with positive and enthusiastic approach towards work challenges
High ability to multitask and strong organizational skills
