This position will serve primarily as the specialist for Cision’s employee benefits plans. The Benefits Administrator is responsible for maintaining the communication with managers and employees regarding benefit enrollment and administration, will lead the maintenance and update of all HR Systems related to benefits, and will be the primary point of contact for benefit vendors.
This position will require the individual to manage multiple, rapidly changing, and competing priorities independently, as well as maintaining strong communication skills and managing relationships, and will participate in the coordination of global projects regarding benefits.
Assist with annual open enrollment
Coordinate daily benefits processing. Manage enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes to benefits, beneficiaries’ updates
Handle the FMLA leave administration process from the employee’s initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work
Provide guidance of Cision’s benefit programs and assist with the resolution of benefits questions and issues for US employees
Communicate with employees regarding their needs for leave and also ensuring that employees are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation and notice required to qualify for and to take leave
Maintain reasonable communication with employees on leave to facilitate smooth and timely return to work; relay communication between employees and their managers during leave within reason
Maintain complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests in accordance with specified legal requirements and documentation of best practices
Enter benefits data as needed into Cision’s HRIS system and checks for accuracy.
Coordinate transfer of data (i.e., feeds, spreadsheets) from HRIS to external contacts to vendors
Run reports from Cision’s HRIS system as needed
Serve as employee liaison for escalations to plan vendors
Ensure creation and accuracy of required monthly benefits billing
Participate in the data request, gathering, and analysis of Cision benefit data
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with equivalent experience
Strong communication skills, good writing skills, strong customer service and analytical skills
High Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel high level required)
Organizational skills to develop/maintain reporting standards where applicable
Must be comfortable working independently and making decisions
UltiPro experience preferred
