As the head of the Cision Insights Americas division, Chelsea oversees a team of 200 analysts in the delivery of custom reporting and research-based consulting. The work of the Cision Insights team fuels the world's most admired organizations with the interpretive analysis, actionable insights and strategic guidance they need to set objectives, develop strategies and tactics, and measure success – over time, versus competitors and light of best practice.
Chelsea has been working in the communications research field since 2005. Prior to her role leading Cision Insights, Chelsea oversaw client service and strategy for PRIME Research US, where she partnered with the CEO on regional growth strategies, oversaw global and domestic client relationships and advised product development teams to drive customer-led innovation. During her tenure at PRIME, Chelsea also launched and directed a strategic research partnership with a top Global PR Agency, where she provided in-house, third-party measurement and consulting to the firm’s top customers. Her work as a research practitioner and senior consultant has been recognized with awards from PRNews, The Holmes Report’s SABRE Awards, and by the IPR for Excellence in PR Measurement.
Chelsea is a member of the Measurement Commission at the Institute of Public Relations, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from The University of Michigan.
Chris Hackney is a leading technology executive bringing 20 years of SaaS, digital media and brand marketing experience to his current role as Senior Vice President, Global Product at Cision. In this role he oversees product planning and solutions advancement across all Cision global product lines.
His early career was shaped by roles at Bank of America, Coca-Cola, and WebMD, but realizing the potential of SaaS to transform traditional marketing he joined the executive team of Vitrue to help brands take advantage of an emerging social platform called Facebook. That enterprise grew rapidly and was successfully exited to Oracle, where he then took on building Oracle’s early-stage Customer Success organization to better capture and manage the customer journey across much of Oracle’s SaaS business (including CRM, CPQ, ERP, Social). Following his stint at Oracle he jumped back into the startup waters as President and COO of Insightpool where he established it as the global leader in Influencer Marketing. Insightpool’s success led to its merger with TrendKite and subsequent combination with Cision in pursuit of building the industry-leading earned media software solution in the world today.
Kevin West is Senior Vice President of MultiVu, where he is responsible for the management of the overall business providing strategic vision, operational efficiency/excellence and technical development leadership. Under his leadership, MultiVu has seen growth and expansion through the addition of Creative services and Agency capabilities.
Kevin is a 30-year veteran of PR Newswire/Cision and has served in a wide range of roles – client services, sales, marketing, product development and operations.
Nikki Grigsby is the Senior Vice-President of Customer Service and Customer Success where she leads a team focused on providing an integrated and enhanced client experience. Her team is committed to helping our clients achieve their desired results and drive their business forward through delivery of world class service, innovative strategies, process standardization and continuous improvement.
Prior to joining Cision, she was the Vice President of Service at ADP, where she held various leadership roles in L&D, Implementation Operations and Services. She also served as the Chair for the International Women’s Inclusion Network business resource group leading initiatives in support of 5000+ members and was awarded the 2017 Women of Distinction award.
In 2019 she was recognized by the Illinois Diversity Council with the Power50 award for inspiring and influencing others to help shape the future. Grigsby believes in authentic leadership, diversity and taking risks as keys to success and is passionate about developing people and fostering leadership opportunities.
Rakesh Kumar is Chief Information Security Officer and Enterprise Architect for Cision. He is responsible for developing security strategies, setting policy, managing risk and implementing security programs for the enterprise. Kumar is also accountable for managing architectural standards, reference architecture and related technology governance processes. He leads the Information Security Office in developing a comprehensive security program for Cision globally.
Prior to joining Cision, Kumar held the Chief Architect position at S&P Capital IQ, where he established and led Enterprise Architecture and Identity and Access Management in Cyber Security and got recognized with iCMG Enterprise & IT Architecture Excellence Award. He has over 20 years’ experience in information security, enterprise architecture, and risk management.
Kumar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Mysore University, India and maintains CISSP certification.
Sharlene Dozois is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Client Experience at Cision. With more than 20 years of experience, she has held senior-level positions with Airbnb, UPS, Kitco Metals, Rogers Communications and Stack8 Technologies. She has a proven track record of leading marketing and sales innovation at the enterprise level, profit optimization, customer experience and branding.
Dozois holds a degree in business from Concordia University and is based in Montreal.
Valerie Lopez is Global Head of Employee Engagement & Inclusion at Cision, where she is responsible for providing vision and leadership to the diversity, inclusion, and equity program across the global organization.
Under her leadership, Cision has seen growth in several new ERG chapters and initiatives including EMPOWER, focused on female leadership, PULSE, dedicated to LGBTQ+, PRIDE month and Global Diversity Awareness month and most recently Embrace, a multicultural resource group raising awareness of the company’s multicultural community. The mission of these ERG groups is to initiate conversations that inspire diverse viewpoints, resulting in colleagues drawing upon each other's unique personal strengths to work toward a common goal.
Lopez holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Gender Studies from Indiana University Bloomington. She is a certified diversity professional through the Society for Diversity and is a member of the National Diversity Council, the Illinois Diversity Council and the National Association of Asian American Professionals.
