Browser Extensions for PR Pros

We know time is of the essence and these browser extensions can help you take back some extra minutes and improve your PR and marketing game. Here is a round-up of our favorite add-ons from Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox:

Google Chrome to Phone Extension – If you’re always on-the-go, then this is a handy extension. You can send links, maps, phone numbers and much more from your Google Chrome browser to your smartphone!
Available on Chrome.

Google Mail Checker – It is as simple as it sounds, but a relevant time saver if – like me – you’re constantly logging in to your Gmail… Or trying to figure out which tab it is.
Available on Chrome.

RSS Subscription Extension – This extension automatically scans a webpage for an RSS feed and lets you subscribe with a single click.
Available on Chrome.

Awesome Screenshot – Such a useful tool! Forget the days of toggling between your keys for a screen shot. You can capture a portion of a page or an entire page with this extension. What’s really great is the annotation tools, like lines, arrows, circles, highlighting, and blurring out sensitive text.
Available on Chrome.

Add this – Share and Bookmark – With Add This you can instantly share to over 300 services, bookmark, print and translate pages with one tool. Users can also customize the list with their favorite way to share.
Available on Chrome or Firefox.

Stumble Upon – Though it needs no explanation, Stumble Upon can be a great tool for marketers. It has well over 20 million registered users and using the toolbar allows you to share and discover from all over the web. It is customized to your interest by an internal algorithm that continually adapts to your sentiment.
Available on Chrome or Firefox.

SEO SERP Workbench – This is an extension provided by Google to quickly check the position of multiple sites based on keywords. You can compare your site against a competitor, and it gives clear, concise results and graphical break down.
Available on Chrome.

Google Global – This is a Chrome or Firefox extension for those of you who wish to see what your search results look like in other countries, cities and ZIP codes, just as if you were in that location. Great for website administrators.
Available on Chrome and Firefox.

Too Many Tabs – If you, like me, are a serial tab hoarder, this add-on is what you need. It manages your tabs and reduces your tab overflow.
Available on Chrome or Firefox.

Cision Chrome Extension – CisionPoint at a click. With the Cision Chrome extension, you can easily look up key influencers as you come across them on the web without having to log into a separate application.
Available on Chrome.
